LifeStation Ministry Prospectus

Executive Summary

LifeStation® is an idea for our time.
Its innovative program is driven by a compelling vision, “to provide a congenial environment for teenagers and adults to meet, serve others, and grow in relationship with God and one another while providing services and resources to community charities it is committed to serve.”   It’s a place with a distinctive program strategically designed to positively impact a generation of young people while boldly reaching out to serve. Each LifeStation® facility is a charitable non-profit organization with a distinct mission focused on:

Youth—Young people within a community manage all aspects of the comprehensive program that is designed to teach personal responsibility, build character, enhance the entrepreneurial spirit, actively engage as part of the community, learn to serve while growing in their relationship with God and others.  The LifeStation® program enables each teenage worker to earn academic scholarships that can be applied to secondary and post-secondary educational pursuits. Every LifeStation is committing 10% of profits to the support of youth activities in the community it serves.  Each week a non-profit organization will be selected and featured.  Adult volunteers from within these featured organizations will assist as volunteers and “consultants” to teen managers.

Community—The LifeStation® facility will include a Performing Arts Center and multiple meeting rooms that can be leased for special concerts, lectures, and events.

The community LifeStation® is an approximately 15,000 square foot building creatively designed to include a bistro, European coffee café, Performing Arts facility, Resource Center, and private meeting rooms.  Revenue proceeds of each LifeStation® are distributed in scholarships for students, grants to community non-profits, and to help fund international outreach.  The facility is designed to be a community resource, a hub where teens can grow, people can be served, and the non-profit community network supported.

The goal is to establish LifeStation® facilities in every community of 25,000 or more within the United States and Canada with multiple locations in key metropolitan areas.  LifeStation International will work to establish facilities worldwide.  LifeStation® facilities can be sponsored by colleges, private schools, churches, individual non-profit organization, and service clubs.  The resources essential to fund a facility will come from donors, grants, and advertising.
